OUR KINK PRICING PRINCIPLES
Our business model is inspired by community organisations with solidarity economics at their core – participating in mutual aid, investing at grassroots, promoting and platforming diversity, and supported in turn by that same community.
This model aims to encourage spending at a local level and keep more money flowing through the Australian kink community. For our first year, the focus will remain on our hometown of Melbourne, but we aim to expand.
The more money we spend with each other, the more money we have to spend on each other. It may be a lofty aim, but if anyone can do it, this community of legends can.
Aside from the dollars, this is an economy of mutual support. Not only are we connecting you with potential products, services, and customers, we’re connecting you with potential collaborators, support systems, and relationships to grow your business in ways that pure financial investment can’t.
We offer a platform separate to standard social media on which many of us rely to promote our services or sell our products. Ours is a place where you can get the information you need without having to scroll a timeline, get triggered by a photo ‘memory’, or feel forced to interact. We want to give people space and time to look, listen and learn on their own schedule.
Our website isn’t in the hands of any billionaire tech bro or prudish entity – you won’t be shadow-banned, censored, or deplatformed for authentically sharing what you do. Although we can’t ensure the ongoing standards of some of the plug-ins we use to provide our services, we are confident in both our current choices, and our back-up plans should anything be shut down.
